The digital revolution of the 90s

In 1991, there was no digital training - so Collin set up his own business at the age of 19 and just got started... "Learning by doing" is still his motto today.

In 1992, he developed the first German multimedia seminar for Apple Computer, in which he taught the basics of interactive multimedia and the use of software tools such as Director, Premiere and Photoshop.

At the same time, he developed interactive multimedia applications on CD-ROM and programmed the Apple Live website in the mid-90s. In 1996, Collin was one of the first online bloggers to go on tour with Justin Timberlake & N'SYNC.

During this exciting time, Collin worked as a marketing consultant and multimedia producer for various agencies, publishing houses and media companies.

This enabled him to actively shape the digital revolution of the 1990s.

His first job: Apple

In 1991, Collin applied to Apple Computer in Munich using a floppy disk. The marketing management at the time found the multimedia application exciting and gave him a chance.

The task: At the CeBit computer trade fair, he was to give a presentation on Apple & multimedia several times a day. The audience and the client loved it and Collin discovered his passion for the big stage.

Collin then worked for Apple for over 10 years as a multimedia evangelist, trainer and speaker at many European conferences and trade fairs. He still advises the inventor of the Macintosh and iPhone on social media marketing today.

Collin founded his own agency for digital brand management in 1997. Over the past 22 years, he and his team have implemented over 800 digital projects, online marketing solutions and social media campaigns. Always with the aim of providing the best possible user experience, measurability and at the highest aesthetic and technical level.

The next BIG thing: The Metaverse & Spatial Computing

The metaverse will be the next evolutionary stage of the internet, in which the virtual and real physical worlds increasingly merge. It will permanently change the way we live, work, learn, communicate and consume.

Digital trends and technologies have always been Collin's great passion. It started in 1991 with multimedia, then came the World Wide Web in 1994 and social media followed in 2004. Collin was able to use all these fundamental developments actively and professionally right from the start. He has gained a great deal of experience and used it intensively for the marketing of his clients, providing training and Lectures held.

I have been fascinated by artificial intelligence since the beginning of the 1990s and have repeatedly explored the possibilities and implications.

Even though the AI winter lasted decades, the release of ChatGPT-3 in November 2022 changed EVERYTHING: It has never been so easy to create professional content with the help of Generative AI. Artificial intelligence will become a normal part of our private and business lives and increase our productivity and creativity enormously. It will not only fundamentally change the way we use computers and software, but also the way we live, work, learn and communicate.

Since 2018 I have been holding AI lectures about the possibilities and effects on our working world and provide fascinating insights into the diverse possibilities of generative AI models such as ChatGPT and Midjourney.
